2022 – 2023 ANNUAL REPORT

August 30, 2023

Dear Donors and Friends,

With great pleasure, we are sharing the report of FONDOP’s accomplishments during the 2022-2023 academic year. The students were able to finish the year in July 2023 despite not returning to class until the end of November or beginning of December 2022.

Your contributions have made it possible for FONDOP to assist 81 Students by covering some or all their tuition costs in the following ways:

4 children attended preschool.

21 pupils went to primary school (up to grade six).

31 students attended the Third Cycle which corresponds to grades 7 through 9.

14 were in secondary schools (starting from grade 10 up to the Baccalaureate level).

Three young adults studied at technical or professional institutions.

8 continued their education in a range of subjects at various universities.

Additionally, FONDOP provided financial support to an orphan. The Foundation also assisted a primary school struggling with the payment of some of its teachers’ salary

After his wife passed away, a widower father of five was given a contribution by FONDOP to help with some of the costs associated with sending his children back to school.

FONDOP took part in a collective’s local efforts to support poor children in the Department

(Southeast). A table outlining 2022-2023’s accomplishments is attached for your perusal. You will notice that 75% of the recipients are women or girls.

Without your donations, none of the above would have been possible. In the name of the children and their parents, FONDOP would like to express its gratitude for your assistance.

FONDOP will continue to support young people who are eager to learn for as long as feasible and with the resources at its disposal. We think that with a proper education, they will be able to change Haiti for the better.

Thank you for all you are doing and best regards,

Bay timoun yo chans pou yo jwi dwa yo epi konn devwa yo!
